Independence Hill Retirement Community is an independent living community, great for active individuals who do not want the burden of keeping up a home, but desire a community and social setting with seniors of like interests. An independent living community is ideal for seniors who appreciate their independence, but desire a more convenient lifestyle. There are daily activities, dining room, laundry service, fitness, and transportation available if desired.
At Independence Hill Assisted Living we offer everything available at Independence Hill Retirement Community for those residents that may not be able to live by themselves but do not require constant medical care. It provides a more independent atmosphere than a nursing home. It allows residents the dignity and respect of their independence. It offers a more home-like environment with private apartments where there is an abundance of activities planned. Residents have the opportunity to socialize with each other which contributes greatly to their emotional well being. Among the services offered by our assisted living community are transportation, meals, laundry services, physical activities, and custom care plans that include assistance with bathing, dressing and medication supervision.
Although not offered on our campus, when daily medical assistance is required a nursing home may be the most appropriate option. They can offer both short-term recovery after surgery and long-term care. A nursing home is for individuals who do not necessarily need hospitalization but require constant attention.
